Every page here answers the same four questions about one song: what key it is commonly played in, how fast its vocal phrases move, which notes the vocal line spans, and how hard that makes it to sing. The range, tempo and difficulty figures are measured from the actual vocal line, not copied from a database. A new song is added every day.

How these numbers are measured
Every figure on these pages is computed from the song’s actual vocal line, extracted by PitchHighway’s audio pipeline from real uploads — not copied from a third-party database and not estimated by a language model.
Vocal range is the lowest and highest sung note. Tessitura is where the melody sits most of the time — the middle 50% of sung duration. Vocal phrasing tempo is the median pace of the sung phrases, which can sit below the song’s beat BPM on sustained passages.
Difficulty weighs the range span, the note speed and the largest interval jump of the vocal line (range × 0.8 + speed × 1.5 + largest jump × 0.6), bracketed into easy / medium / hard. “Fits measured voices” is the share of vocal ranges measured on PitchHighway that the song fits inside when shifted by whole octaves — the same octave-only fitting the app itself applies. It only renders once at least 50 measured ranges back it.
